ERP Project Manager (m/f/d)

Our client is a pan-European alternative investment firm. The Group has offices in London, Munich, Amsterdam and Dusseldorf. Due to the growth of the portfolios, our client would like to strengthen the operations team in Germany and the UK and is therefore looking for an experienced ERP Project Manager (m/f/d). This is a permanent direct placement.
 

The challenge:    

• Initiate projects, e.g. ERP implementation or modernization and execute end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, execution, control and closing of the project, once all the identified and agreed scope of work is implemented and tested for quality
• Define and mature the project scope, develop the project management plan, and identify and schedule the project activities
• Understand, establish, and actively manage priorities
• Identify resource requirements and manage internal and external parties to deliver the tasks assigned
• Monitor performance of project tasks, budget and operational readiness
• Access and manage risks and issues
• Prepare and transfer the completed work product to operations
• Communicate project status and necessary actions to project stakeholders and the steering committee
   

Key Experience / Skills:

• Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or Information Technology or comparable degree
• PMP or PMI Certifications is beneficial
• 5 years of working experience with ERP systems ideally as project or program manager
• Demonstrated track record of successful Project Management on ERP Projects; SAP project management experience is preferred as well as one full life cycle project experience as a Project Manager
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with business process mapping preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Good understanding and experience in IT architecture, IT Solution design and infrastructure
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and communicate commitment
• Outstanding people skills and ability to build respectful relationships with all levels of staff
• Self-motivated to perform effectively and provide accurate results
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Fluent English is a must, German is beneficial
